( An article to me is at times boring. They are sometimes, untrue, manipulated, self serving and in some cases downright pretentious. However, a letter I feel is more forthcoming in its very DNA. You complain, praise, abuse, talk, write – and its likely to be very honest. This letter emailed to us by Biswajit Chatterjee is something we wanted to share in it's own entity. Initially we were planning to put it up in the site's 'Feedback' section as a natural instinct. However something about the letter changed our minds. No. It doesn't have bombastic words or complex sentences. It doesn't even have anything new to say. Thats perhaps not the writer's intention. But Biswajit Chatterjee does put across to us a powerful thought. A very powerful thought.
We present this letter to you not to chest thump as he has a few pleasant words for us, but to essentially tell ourselves that YES, we Bishnupriya Manipuris do have our own reasons to feel good about each other – if we intend to.
