FRIENDSHIP - Babita Sinha, New Delhi

Friendship, the word itself is relative and has a deep selfless meaning. Friendship is synonymous with fraternity of like minds. In the present world of competition, real friendship often goes fade in the presence of prominent hostility and selfishness. We can see more of colleagues and mates in the present generation relationships, which people often, define as friendship but which is actually not. The real friendship can only be tested in tough times as it is said that “A Friend In Need Is a Friend Indeed”. Everyone wants to be friend with the person who is successful in life and the same person becomes friendless when success goes away from him. In a way we can say in the present day context, earning friendship is directly proportional to success. More success more friends and vice versa.

Admission Delhi University 2009 - Surajit Sinha

The prestigious Delhi University Admission will start from 1 June.  There are total 49,000 seats at stake. The reservation for the OBC is 18%. I am not mentioning other quotas as they are irrelevant to Bishnupriya Manipuris.

Do we run the Great Arjuna's blood in our veins?

The state Manipur always has been styled as a kingdom without much of remnants of palaces, rich monuments and temples. Historical temples and monuments are very few. The earliest temple which is believed to be of the 15th/16th century AD is the Vishnu temple at Bishnupur now called as Bishenpur. Non availability of monuments prior to it is perhaps due to the fact that as the art of making bricks was unknown in Manipur at that time , constructions were made of wood and other perishable materials which are easily weathered when exposed to tropical and sub tropical climate . Anyway the stupa type of roof of the Vishnu Temple, the hut type temple of Krishna and other monuments at Imphal indicate the influence of both Buddhist and Vaishnavite Hindu architecture. to know more :)

Answers to this questions are bound to take us long way - Biswajit Chatterjee

Biswajit Chatterjee is an enterprising youngster originally from Dullavchera or Dullopsora rather, if we have to pronounce the Bishnupriya Manipuri way! Currently he works in New Delhi as a Mortgage-Title expert in a KPO. He dreams to chase his real love when the time comes - wants to be a Visual Effects (VFX) Artist as a full term career option. Apart from that he loves to write and immerse himself into music.

Read on what he writes guys. This young EIGAA is pretty good. We swear!

FROM CAREER OJA - 03 MAY, 09

For the last one decade I have seen a huge influx of Bishnupriya Manipuri migrants in to big cities like Delhi, Bangalore,Kolkata, Chennai and Hyderabad too.

And there are debates like we have not received proper infrastructure or support in past otherwise we could have done much better so on and so forth. We talk about not getting infrastructure and family and financial support. But what we will say that JNU has some students whose parents live below poverty level or Jawaharlal Navodaya Vidaylaya has sent 700 students to prestigious IIT.
